About Me
Aloha! My name is Taylor Ursulum and I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Oʻahu. Growing up I always had a passion for capturing the special moments of my life whether it be with my family, friends, partner, or pets. As the Video Producer for the University of Portland’s digital newspaper, The Beacon, I was able to do just that- capture the life that happens on the university and the North Portland community.
In May 2020, I graduated from the University of Portland with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Communication. Through my past internships and academic experiences I became skilled in social media management, video production, and writing. I am currently applying my educational and professional experience at the City & County of Honolulu Office of Climate Change, Sustainability, and Resiliency as a Communications & Community Education Specialist under the AmeriCorps VISTA program.
